Remodeling a Difficult Room

"This is our activity room, and we have classes and I have an art table set up over here, and a desk for creative writing, and then this ladder goes up to the office. This room has changed more than any room in the house. This used to be an art manufacturing company where we produced hand painted silk. This entire room literally was two tables. It had a 60 inch wide table here, and a 48 inch wide table there. The floors were plywood and they had paint all over them, every color of paint. The walls were black up to here from so many different colors on it. It took about eight coats of paint to get rid of the black, and what we did was we painted the walls, we added the hardwood floors, we added trim, we changed the door. We took out a lot of the manufacturing structural shelves. There was a heating element here, and we just opened the room up. So its very different now. "
