"The last part of creating your home renovation plan is to create a master plan of all the tasks that need to be done. Create a plan that has the order in which the construction will be done, and within each category, for example electric, plumbing, walls, doors, list al the tasks within that category in chronological order. Then under that in a separate column list all the materials you will need for each task. And then in the third column list the cost of each of the materials, the cost of the contractors, and then total it all up. That will give you a pretty good estimate of what you need for your finances. "
