"DAVE BARKER: On behalf of Expert Village, I'm David Barker. I'm going to show you how to soap--we've talked before about the size and shape of the squeegee. I'm using a larger squeegee to squeegee this window off. I'm going to show you a technique in the next segment, but what I want to do is show you what a squeegee is and what it consists of. Every--it has a rubber or a vinyl type--it can be a natural rubber or vinyl type rubber that's flexible, that goes inside the channel and then I cut that with a razor blade, and make sure your razor blade is sharp. I've just replaced this rusted blade from the last segment and then I'm going to cut this with about a quarter of an inch or maybe an eighth of an inch is better overlay on the outside. And so I wind that up and mark that and then I'll mark that where I want to be and I can just cut that right here on the squeegee. I don't want to cut it on the cement. I've marked it and I just do a nice quick cut. Make sure you have--see that's got a flaw in the cut so I'm going to cut it again just a little bit closer. Okay. Now, I've got a nice square edge there and that's the most important is having a square edge. And then when I get ready, if I want to I can replace the blade if I need to, and this one I don't need to but I take out the clips. You don't want to lose these clips 'cause they are really small and you'll use it after. They will come out a little easier. Okay. So the clips come out, that goes in, you line it up. And I am going to replace this blade along here, might as well. So, I'll feed this through. And in the next segment I'll show you how to put the clips back in."
