"If you come out and your pool is not working there is a little check list you want to run down. First make sure that the pump is working, two make sure that it is valved properly meaning that if you have main drains or skimmers and if it is hooked up to a dedicated suction port that those are closed off properly so that the suction is going to the cleaner. If it is not, make sure to use that the tool that came with it to clean it so that it has the flow it needs. If it isn't, as discussed in previous clips, remove the debris from it by taking off the access panel that we have already done and making sure that it is free and clear and once it is off again you want to be able to spin the turbine inside of it with your finger. Now of course do this outside of the pool. The other thing that you want to do is make sure that the pods are moving up and down. The other thing we check also is by making sure it has a full extension. You can see right here this comes from and eighth or so of touching the top in one direction and even less or more rather in the other direction. Make sure that it has a full swing and if not the, it is just taking half steps. Now another thing you can check is to make sure that the top cone is spinning properly and without a lot of pressure because it is geared way up is to do this, spin it. That whining noise is normal and that is because it is lubricated partially by the water that it is in and that sounds good. Now this one obviously being a new unit, is in good shape. If you have any problems with of those areas, we will show you how to repair those in upcoming clips."
