"Hi my name is Amelia Tallman, and on behalf of Expert Village.com, I am here today talking about how to arrange flowers; and in this segment we are going to talk about how to arrange flowers using floral foam. Some people might wonder why would you do that. It might seem kind of old fashioned when you use floral foam and do a low lying arrangement, but the advantage of it is you can do arrangements in a lot of different shaped receptacles. I have a few here, and as you can imagine, it would be really difficult to do a floral arrangement in many of these if you didn’t have something to hold the flowers upright. They would just tilt and bobble over. You can create really striking arrangements in unusually shaped objects such as these, or sometimes people choose to do something seasonal. For instance, this is a little white pumpkin. It would be nice to do a fall type arrangement in a receptacle such as this. So these are some of the options that you have if you are going to use floral foam for flower arranging. "
