"My name is Jeff Pence and I am with Bob Street today from Houdini Home Improvement in Lebanon, Ohio on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip, we will be unpacking the stopper valve assembly. Most of the assembly you see in Bob's hand includes the stopper, the flange, the gasket, the nut and washer, the tail piece and the pivot seat and gasket plus the nut for that. The only thing that should be left is the horizontal rod and clip and then the strap and screw assembly. Don't get too intimated when you see a set of directions much like this one that shows the assembly pulled apart because most of it is already put together. You just have to put in the horizontal rod and clip and strap and screws. What we are going to do is take our Plumber's Putty and we are going to be pretty liberal with it and make us a rope. You want to place it around the drain and give plenty of cushion for the stopper valve assembly and then you will just get rid of the excess later. "
