"My name is Brent Shelly with Expert Village and we are talking about lighting design today. Lighting designers are technology experts. There are many different manufacturers of lighting products. Being able to take these products and apply them to architectural space is where a lighting designer comes in handy. If you are looking for a lighting designer for your project, there are some different websites that you can go to in your area. The IALD.org or the International Association of Lighting Designers is a great place to find a lighting designer for your project. You can also find a lighting designer through the NCQLP.org. That is the National Council for the Qualification of Lighting Professionals or through trade magazines. A lot of lighting designers will have their LDNA, Lighting Design and Application or Professional Lighting Designer which are two of the professional trade magazines that you can find."
