"Hi, this is Brian Carter on behalf of Expertvillage.com. I have 10 years of ceramic tile installation experience. Today I am going to show you how to make the angle or diamond cut. First thing we need to do is to line up the corners with the blade, as you get to know your saw you can see right where it's going to cut through on the end. So you can line that up, we are going to go through even slower on this kind of cut. Now we need to make sure that there is nothing on the surface of the saw tray because if there is then, especially on angle cuts, the tile will break. Let us put a little piece under it, so you just continue to go slow here, all the way through. I like to pinch the ends of the tile as it gets close keeping my thumbs away from the blade but that helps the end to stay together. As you can see we can make some really nice decorative pieces here and use that for all kinds of decor."
