Decorating Plant Gift Baskets

"We've done our basket. Added our plants. Added sheet moss. Or you could use Spanish moss if you can't get any sheet moss. But the sheet moss really adds a nice touch to it and finishes it off nicely. Now we're going to dress up our basket. There's different ways that you can dress it up. Sometimes you might want to add a bow and you can either do a pre-made bow like that or you can just take some ribbon and put it through the handle. We do that a lot here at that shop, and make a little bow right there on the handle. And that's a really quick way to do it. And it dresses it up really nice. We like to add little birds sometimes. Especially a gift for a man. You could add a little pheasant sitting on a nest or just glue it right on to the handle. This kind pokes right down in the dirt and that looks really cute. Another way we dress it up is maybe adding a little pussy willow to the plant basket. There's also a product out there called curly willow that is willow sticks that are kind of curvy and they make a really nice statement with dressing up the basket. So there's lots of things that you can do to dress it up a little bit and give it as a gift or keep it for yourself."
