"Today we're going to talk about putting together live plants in a basket or pot to build a plant basket or a dish garden. First of all, we need to look at supplies. You need a basket or a pot of course. And we'll discuss that in another segment. We'll choose one but you can use just a regular basket. You can use a pot. All different sizes, shapes, and whatever. You need something to line the basket with because you don't want to water a plant and have it go through the basket. So, either a liner from the and you can get those at a garden store or a hardware store or I like to use this Fore Mill plastic sheeting to line my baskets with. If I don't have a liner that fits. In some baskets you just can't get a liner that will fit. A nice shovel, a hand shovel works really well. Sometimes I just use a spoon or a knife. A pair of scissors if you need to cut your plastic sheeting. Water. Potting soil is a must of course. Because we're going to have to add some more potting soil to the basket. And then a variety of plants are what you're going to need. "
