"Hi my name is Todd with Expert Village and today I'm going to show you how to solve a rubiks cube. So the other outer rhythm that you need to know in order to solve this second row also involves the outer rhythm that we just learned in the previous clip. You need to know both of them. In this case instead of having the blue here and the red here which you would line up and do that other outer rhythm that we have just solved. We have the red up here and the blue down here. So basically it is opposite so what do we do. This outer rhythm is as follows. You line it up underneath the correct color and then you do this. This is the front always. You are always wanting to keep the piece that you want to move to on your left. Right here. Front, counterclockwise, bottom, to the right, front, clockwise, bottom, to the right, again, left, down, bottom, to the left, left up, that is the other outer rhythm. Now let's go ahead and do the one that we had before. As you can see the piece is now blue right here and red on the bottom. Let's go ahead and do the outer rhythm. Bottom, to the right, left down, bottom to the left, left up, bottom to the left again, front, down, bottom to the right, front up. Now you can see we have the blue and red aligned and we have the first two layers of the cube done. "
