"Hi my name is Todd with Expert Village and today I'm going to show you how to solve a rubiks cube. Okay now let's solve the second layer of our cube. There are other things that you need to do to do this relatively simple. The first step you need to do is turn so that this middle piece lines up with the color of the first row. They should all be lined up. These middle pieces always stay at there oritation. They never move. They may seem that they move when you do this or when you do this but they really don't move. They just pivot. So now we have all of these lined up. Now we have to get these corner pieces. Well the first thing that we are going to want to do is find the piece that has red and green in it. Looking for that we see that it is right here. So we need to get this piece that is red up here so we need to move it this way. The other rhythm is and remember this is considered front and this is considered up. This always stays up. So considering this front and this down move down, counterclockwise, left, clockwise, down, clockwise, left, counterclockwise, down, clockwise, front, counterclockwise, down, counterclockwise and front, clockwise. So that piece that was red and green that was here is now here. "
