"Hi! My name is Todd with Expert Village, and today I'm going to show you to solve a Rubik’s cube. Now, the first thing that we're going to want to do is solve the corners of the first layer of the Rubik's cube. Now, very important to note is solving a corner does not mean only getting the same color on top. It also means getting the same color on the sides as well. Right now, what we're looking for is a white piece with an orange side. Let's find that. Here it is. The white piece with the orange side. We're going to want to get his piece up here. The way we would do that is turn the bottom to the left once and then turn it up. Now you have 2 corners solved. Now you have 2 corners solves with orange on the side. Let's go to the other corners. Now right now, we're looking for a white piece with a blue side to go right here, and it just so happens to be right here. Easily, all we'll do is turn the cube up like so. Now we have 2 corner sides done. We have the orange and we have the blue. Now we're looking for this corner, which should be a white with a red side. The corners are very easy to locate. They should always be in corners. This is a little trickier. If we just turn this up, yes, we've solved this side, but we've also messed up this corner by moving this piece. Let's move that back. What you want to do now instead of just turning this up, is you want to turn this this way to get these cubes out of the way. Then adjust this corner and turn this side back. Now we have all 4 corners solved. The next step will be to solve the side pieces."
