Series Summary

Ahhhh, the ever-elusive Rubik's cube! One of life's little mysteries. Since it's birth in the 1980's this little puzzle has perplexed the masses in a way that no other puzzle or game has before or since. Many people still think to this day that it is unsolvable. Luckily, this is definitely not the case. Through many tests and a lot of trial and error our expert, Todd Sapio, was able to solve the cube on his own accord. Terms like algorithms and the idea of each side having a name seems to be overwhelming and deters many folks from trying to solve it themselves. Don't let this be the case with you. You can do it!

Throughout this video series you will learn many things about the cube and about yourself and your resilience. "Hi! My name is Todd with Expert Village, and today I'm going to show you to solve a Rubik’s cube. Look at this cube. It almost looks broken. Impossible to put back together. To some it may seem that way, but not to you or I. Through a series of what are called algorithms, in the next several clips we're going to be able to put this cube back together again. What is an algorithm you may ask. All an algorithm is a series of movements to move one piece to another spot without changing any of the other pieces. There are several algorithms that you will need to know in order to solve this, but don't let it overwhelm you. There's only about 5 or 6, so let's get going. "
