"Hi, my name is Tommy and we are speaking on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip we'll talk about the shifters. The shifters generally come in two categories, three categories actually. The Moto-motors which are one-twenty-fives and eighties, and then the Italian motors which are one-twenty-fives and they are basically made for karting, the exhaust comes out the back and the intake comes in the front. These are adapted for motor-cross motors and generally we run Honda's. They have the carburetors in the back and the exhaust coming around the back. They have a six speed gearbox which shifts on a pole here, right by your shifter and basically you just bump it to make it shift. To get them started you have to push start them, but it's very easy to push start them, you can actually run along, jump in it and hit the gear shifter and it starts right up. They are very fast, they run zero to sixty times in less than five seconds, they run about, a little over a hundred miles a hour, or a hundred and five, hundred and eight miles an hour, top speed. The Moto-motors are very reliable, we have them in a couple of different versions of stock and highly modified. The stock motors, you can probably run them all year and not ever replace a piston or anything. The modified stuff, every couple of, you know three or four races, you have to put a piston in it. We have both the one-twenty-fives and the eighties. The one-twenty-fives have the front brakes, because they are so fast, they have to stop fast enough. In the eighties, you're not, generally you're not allowed to use any front brakes in the eighties. These put up, out, up to about forty-five horsepower, the eighties put up to about twenty-eight horsepower and the Italian motors are in the forty-five horsepower range also. "
