"Hi, my name is Vlad Cardema. Today I'm going to show you how I make these Peruvian flutes. I specialize in making these flutes, and I make didgeridoos and drums, but today I'll show you how to make a Peruvian style flute out of black bamboo. We're here today for me to show you how to cut bamboo for a Peruvian style flute. First cut I'm going to make is I'm going to follow this line, it's the middle of the node. I'm going to make sure that I don't cut too far in, because it's going to compromise our first hole. And this Japanese saw cuts on the "pull", and it's a bamboo saw. As you can see, the node is still sealed, and we want that, because that's where our first hole is going to be. "
