"Some of the common mistakes you may experience while learning how to front side 50/50 going down on a flat bar or a rail is you're going to notice that since you're going in the downward position, it's going to change and there's going to be a little more speed generated. What this is going to do is make you want to put your weight all the way over the 50/50. Make sure that you're just above the rail. This will hold you and lock you into position, and make it so that you can make it all the way down. The other common mistake you'll find--a lot of people make this mistake. You land and you're not quite on top of the rail. What this will cause the board to do is of course fall down when you put your weight on your heels like you should be doing when in a locked position, but when you put your weight on your heels this will cause the board to fall off. It'll also cause your toes to land and your shins to sometimes be directed into the rail. So you don't want this to happen. So you want to make sure you're on top of the rail and locking your wheels in the front side 50/50 grind. And these are just some of the common problems people experience while doing a front side 50/50 down a rail."
