"Front side fifty-fifty on a downhill rail. Now that you've learned how to grind a rail consistently, you're ready to bring it to something that goes down and gains speed as you're grinding. What this is going to do is get you ready for some of the street hand rails, the railings that go down stairs. It will get you used to the feeling of grinding fast, and picking up a little bit of speed, and also getting used to the feeling of locking in to the front side fifty-fifty and grinding a little bit faster. So, now that you're ready to bring your grind to a downhill rail, this is a perfect example of a rail to learn on, and learn how to go down. Same rules are going to apply that you use to get into a front side fifty-fifty on an average flat bar. The only thing now is, the momentum and your weight are going to bring you down to the end, as opposed to before when you created all of the speed, and had to go up to it, and ride across it. Now you're going to get on, and you're going to just hold on the way down. So the same rules apply, ollie into the front side fifty-fifty and lock your wheels against whatever you're grinding, and you're going to put most of your weight on your heels and travel down the rail, and then you're going to ollie off the end when you run out of your speed. So, you ollie on, lock your wheels, grind using most of your weight on your heel, and then ollie off front side and roll away. That's a front side fifty-fifty down a flat bar."
