"A great variation of the heel flip is the fakie heel flip. It's exactly like the straight heel flip only you're rolling backwards and then you do the heel flip and then you land rolling backwards and continue. So what you're going to want to do is setup exactly like you do for the heel flip with some minor adjustments. When you're rolling in the fakie position, be careful because you're going to be putting all of your weight on the tail, so you have to get ready for possible impact of going that way, but what you do for the fakie heel flip is, you setup, your toe hanging off the board, you hit the tail and you drag your foot up the top of your board and past the nose. This will cause the board to flip in front of you. You flip the board and you land back on and continue rolling in a fakie direction. Some of the tricks that you're going to have to have down are rolling fakie, fakie Ollies, and straight heel flips. It also helps to be able to know how the roll fakie and be able to possibly fakie kick flip. These, all these tricks will help you to learn how to do a heel flip fakie."
