"A good way of learning how to heel flip and a good way of practicing how to learn how to heel flip is to just test it on the flat ground, stationary, and that's not moving. What you do is you set your foot up and hang the toe off the heel. The more you do this the better it'll be when you actually start rolling and taking the risk of actually doing the heel flip, catching it and rolling away. The more equipped you are and the better you know about what you're board is going to do before it does it the better. So what you might do is set up with your foot hanging off and just test where the board ends up going with the specific heel flip test. So I've got my foot hanging off and what I'm going to do is just kick the board off and only try to land it with one foot. This way the more testing the better. So I kind of learned from that try that the more you try the better and also I learned that maybe it might help to hang my toe off a little bit more. That way the board will flip a little bit faster and I'd be able to land back on it just that little bit easier."
