"The foot placement that's required for a front side 50/50 on any kind of rail is pretty much the same as front side 50/50-ing on a ledge. The only thing that's going to change is that when you get into the grind, you're going to want to make sure that you have all of your weight on your heel. This is going to be what locks you into the front side 50/50. So, while you approach the rail, keep in mind that you're going to have to adjust your feet and shift them into that position so that your back heels are locked in that position. So, it's pretty much the same setup. You're going to need to set up with the size ollie that will get you onto whatever you're trying to grind on. So, depending on the height, it's going to matter how far back your feet are. So imagine, the higher the rail that you're getting on, the further back you want your foot to be. And another thing, you want to make sure that you grind a really small, mellow rail to get these down. 50/50s on rails can be a little bit dangerous, so you're going to want to make sure you start low and work from there. And that is the position that you need for your feet for the front side 50/50 on a rail."
