"Alright. Now you've seen the vortex. Let's give it a try. This move definitely requires a lot of patience, so take a minute just to stand up nice and tall, close your eyes, and visualize what the trick looks like. Okay, hopefully you tried that. Now, let's go into exactly what the hands are doing. Take your first hand and grab the loop, palm facing down, thumb towards you. Take your second hand, reach across your body, and grab the hoop. This move takes some momentum, so I'm going to have to demonstrate it first before I show you exactly what happens with the hand. From right here, you know where the hands are. You're going to lean to your right, swing the hoop up and over your head. The hoop then will transfer into your right hand. Let's talk about that. When the hoop comes behind your body and with your left hand or your second hand, you're going to reach back with your right hand and grab the hoop. Palm facing the hoop, thumb in towards you. Then the hoop will swing back up, you'll grab with your left hand or second hand. Thumb will be on the outside of the hoop, palm facing in. It'll go around your head. Transfer to the right. Up and down, up and down. You really want to reach up to grab and receive the hoop at the exact same time that you release. It's a very continuous motion. If you're doing this standing straight forward, you really have to move your body to get that momentum going. That's why we like to turn a little bit with this movement so that you're able to really guide and float the hoop around your body. Once again, for the hand, take the hoop out to your right. Take the first hand or the right hand, grab the hoop, palm facing down, take your left hand across your body, grab that hoop there, turn to your right, swing it up and around, grab, up, grab, up, grab, up. Turing, transferring the hand. Alright."
