"This is a small cherie or wine, with a small bell flower pattern. When you’re looking you have to be careful. Alot of this ribbing gets nicked and dented, just from normal use and you have to remember these date back to 1850 so that's alot of use. This is a honey bowl, that's made in bell flower pattern too with a little roughness on the bottom. So that's what I have to show you today in the bell flower pattern. But there are other shapes that are made in this pattern. You just have to look through the books and you'll see them. Some are more difficult to find than others, the goblets are fairly common to find, the pitchers a little more difficult. The spooner you can find, not that difficult. These are a little harder to find and a little more expensive. Now, I'll go on to show you which I have only have two examples of. This is the horn of plenty pattern. And you can see that the stem has a little bit different bulb to it. This is a really pretty pattern. Which you can see the actual horn, this is a goblet and I also have the tumbler which you can see the pattern a little bit better. There's the gran pantel and you'll see. I'll show you over and over again, how much wear there is on the bottom. That's really something you want to look for when you're looking at flint glass. Make sure you give it a little ping, to make sure that the glass is not cracked or chipped. And you can tell by the ring. If you don't get a nice high ring you know there is something wrong with the glass and that's a good way to check."
