"When you talk about historical blue for this time period, the 1820's and 1850's you will see different patterns places, events and people and one of the patterns you can look at here is this event that is happening right here and there is actually a dog chasing a mouth underneath this woman's foot. This is a series that was put out and you can see that he is actually throwing his pitcher up in the air and it is falling down, his cigar is smoldering behind him and there is a little person trying to dig out with his broom and a woman sneaking a peek in the doorway of what is going on. So you can see there is a whole event that is happening on this plate and that is really typical of this series. You will see a lot of events and there will be a series of events of different things happening. This is really typical nice crisp example of an event that is happening. Here in the back you will see on this platter is Saving the Shepherd is what it is called. It is a great platter. You can see that there is one man trying to torment this shepherd and a knight is coming to save him on his horse. You can see there is a real event happing here. So this is another example of your historical blue in pattern form."
