"So these are a couple of local resource books of local New England crocks that I find really great resources especially if you want to collect locally. There are other books and there are other books that you can go to, to collect to take a look this is a general book Country Furniture but inside you would find that there is a lot of local crocks and regional crocks that you can just good examples of. Another book to is Pottery and Porcelain this is a great book it has a lot of good examples of different types of crocks. There is a wide range I'm going to show you a few more this is American Country antiques this is a great set of example of crocks and one more that is older edition but this is American Pottery and Porcelain this is another nice book that will give you some nice examples. It is in black and white it doesn't show a lot of color but for the looking for the shapes and the blue decoration it really gives you a good example it doesn't show it in color but it gives you a wide range to choose from. So these are some of the resources for books and in the back of the books you can always find collectors and collector's club that you can either write to or find out when they are having there club meetings when you can go buy your/you can buy some of this pottery usually from some of these collectors. So this is another great resource so these are a few place, a few type of books that you can buy. You can go the library also and probably just order these from the library and not have to buy them you can look at the book stores like Barnes and Noble would carry a lot of these resources books to so there are some sources for you to start you collection with."
