"This is a clock from the late 19th century about 1880, 1890 this is an Engerham made in Bristol, Ct they made them to look like marble they were an inexpensive clock that could be bought by the average person on this street. They look like marble but they are faux finish and it's actually wood with this old finish put on it and all this highly decorated filigree that you can see on the edge of this on the corner, so it's a less expensive clock. A fun clock to own when you open up this dial you can see it's in roman numerals this particular one on the inside is very clean and you can see it rings on the half hour, and if it's not starting up but it rings on the hour also. And they all seem to have a different chime to them this one is a really light easy tone that you can very easily get use to and you wouldn't be so bothered some in the house, but this is about 1880's, 1890's. This is a nice faux clock that you can really show anywhere in your house it's a nice addition to any collection."
