"So when talking about collecting flash or ruby glass patterns there are many pattens to collect because this ruby was used on dinnerware that period from 1891 to 1920. So full tableware sets you'll find in ruby so there are a lot of mass produce dinnerware sets of pressed glass during that period. So your going to find a wide range of pattern I want to show you just some examples of it here. This block pattern this block diamond pattern you can see it in a goblet form here and you can also see it in a tumbler. These are pieces that you'll find out of the market you'll also find patterns that these cups and saucers this is another different pattern here with a handle on it. You can see a very similar pattern to with a cup and handle here this is another ruby flash with a small detail pattern on the bottom. That's another here if you look to the right you'll see a diamond pattern and this is a covered sugar bowl just another example of a different pattern. You can see back here this open sugar bowl that we have here is another pattern very different but ruby flash you can find this in goblets and all kinds of different forms. But this pattern is very popular and I'm going to show you a different pattern down here, this is a simple beaded top and beaded scarab pattern here. Very simple pattern and there's another stripped pattern this is really popular strip with a little gold banding on it that you'll find in some other ruby flash is a later pattern. If you look down here you can see this pattern here which is a later pattern a souvenir pattern with a ruby flash solid ruby on the footed base. This is another different pattern that you might want to collect also we have another ruby flash here simple pattern with almost a cathedral type stem here with a straight ruby flash on top just a little water glass. A few other examples here this is another nice pattern a little more detail on the flash on the top a nice water pitcher milk pitcher with a nice detail on the bottom also, so there's another example. So a lot of examples a number of patterns and I highly recommend that you go and take a look in one of the collective books to try to choose what pattern you might want to collect."
