"When were talking about ruby staining or applying this paint to our flash glass we want to talk about color variations this is a heavy you can see a heavy deep color which is the cup that belongs to this water picture here. That's a very heavy and it can go into a very light pinkish color this one is an example of a lighter flash color when you compare it next to this cup here, if you look at the variations and the color here you can see this is much lighter than that so you get a very pale pinkish color up to a deep ruby here. So those are a couple of examples of what you'll find in the flash stain glass, this is very similar different pattern this one might be a little bit lighter, and I'm going to show you to examples up here on the first shelf of just toothpick holders that vary quit a bit in color. This is 2 different types of flashing you can see this one here is much deeper and this is much lighter almost pinkish color that we're talking about so there's a varying selection in color of this ruby flashed collectible glass from the 1891 to about 1920. So that's a few examples of color variations."
