"Let's take a look now at decent starting hands. These are hands that if you get them in the early position, say seat nine, eight seven. You probably want to throw them away. In the middle position, you also probably really want to throw them away. But if you've got the dealer betting, or you're just to the right of it, or you're in one of the small blind, the big blind, either one of the blinds. Then see a flop with it. Unless there's been a lot of betting before you. Ace Ten and Ace Ten suited, you can definitely see a flop with it. Especially Ace Ten suited. King Jack, be very careful with this hand. I see this hand over played a lot online. It looks good, but let's just say it ain't. Queen Jack. Unlike King Jack, this hand leads its hand to more straits. Queen Ten suited, we're getting a little dicey here. But if you're in late position and it doesn't cost you that much, see the flop. And here, I've laid out three hands, which are called suited connectors. Ten nine are connected. Nine and eight are connected. Eight and Seven connected. Suited connectors are powerful little hands to see a flop with if it doesn't cost you that much. Say you're in the big blind, someone only put in the minimum raise. You're getting what's called a great price on your money. Go ahead and see the flop for the value. Who knows, you could wind up flopping the nuts. Getting a straight. Getting two more cards to you flush. You'll be in good shape to scoop the pot. Play these hands with caution, but play them to win. "
