"Okay, next I want to show you a follow drill. This is a drill that's designed to give you a feel for using different speeds at different distances. So that you know just how far above that center line on that cue ball that you need to hit and just how hard you need to hit it to get it to go certain distances. So, we've got a little drill right here. It's very simple to use. We're going to start with our object ball directly across from this spot right here, which is called a diamond, we're going to set him there and we're going to set our cue ball directly across from the next diamond and we are just going to shoot the ball into the pocket and try to get the cue ball to just come up here beyond this diamond here to, then it would be like its setting up for another shot if there where a ball over there. But, once we get to where we can control that shot pretty good, then what we need to do is move both balls back two diamonds. So, now we're again, we're shooting from back here but we're trying to get the cue ball to come up past this first diamond. And then we just keep working our way back, two diamonds at a time, until we're back here to this spot right here and we're shooting the shot all the way down the table with the speed to try to get the cue ball to follow all the way up within this area here. Just keep doing that over and over again, until you've got a good feel for the speed on each one of them."
