"Hi my name is Sarah Stetner, I'm a expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village and in this video I'm just showing you how to prepare for showmanship. It is a long process and there is a lot of steps. So anyway I just showed you how to thoroughly brush the horse after you get all the gear off of him and you want to go ahead and brush him about three times. Three or four times depending upon how many times you think that he need to be brushed again. So now I'm just going to give you a little tip, it is a tip that my mom and I would do all the time, it is to get the horse to shine. It is just the last thing that you would do after you brush him, you just rub the horse down with your hands just to make him shine a little bit more. This is after a show scheme and everything is on him and stuff. So you just want to go ahead and rub him down, make sure that everything is off of him. Again this horse is dirty, its not how he is suppose to look for showmanship because it is winter time he still has his fuzzy coat on and he is not bathe. But, anyways you just want to rub him down, get his legs. It's a last minute thing to do and then I will go ahead and do the other side a little rub down. So this is just a little tip for you, rubbing down the horse to make him shiny before you go in the ring. "
