"Hi my name is Sarah Stetner, I'm a expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village and in this video I'm just showing you how to prepare for showmanship. I just showed you how to clip his whiskers and his bridle path and now I'm going to go ahead and you don't want to forget about his eyelashes right here. Not his real eyelashes right above the lid but these little hairs right here as you can see. So you don't want to trim them nice and short and I'm also going to show you how to go ahead and clip his ears too because his ears are big part of showmanship. That is what the judge judges on is cleanness of the horse, your horse have to be very clean. So you just want to go ahead and get all of his little eyelashes underneath as well. And his ears, you see how hairy the ears are, as you can see. If your horse has a problem with clipping his ears, Rowdy quit, quit, like he is you want to go ahead and use a lip twitch. But you do want to go ahead and get all of his ear hairs. You want to go ahead and get all of his ear hairs right inside here and then in order to flip out the ear and get it inside. You just want to go ahead and kind of go upside down with it. See as you can see how I kind of twisted his ear out. If he will let you, which he has abusive his ears before so he has a bad problem with his ears right now. But in all he is a good boy. So that is clipping the horses ears and the eyelashes you want to make sure and do that. You want to clip the ears very well. "
