How to Clip the Horse's Whiskers for a Horse Show

"Hi my name is Sarah Stetner, I'm a expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village and in this video I'm just showing you how to prepare for showmanship. In the last segment I just showed you how to clip the horse's leg. In this segment I'm going to go ahead move to the face and start clipping his whiskers. His whiskers are right here. So I have this little hand held battery power razor and it does tickle him. As you can see just kind of trim him down like you are shaving. You want to get underneath the chin as well. You want to go ahead and do this until all of his whiskers are gone. If it is show season you can start doing this about in February. This way you don't have as many to clip when it is showmanship time and also you can do this while you are bathing the horse as well with a regular razor like a human razor. Just go ahead and soap and lather the muzzle area and go ahead and use that razor. So this is how you clip the muzzle you just go ahead and get his whiskers all over. "
