"Hi, I’m Scott Vallance and I am here on behalf of Expert Village.com. If you would like to see some of my work you can go to vipphotographic.com. Today we are going to talk a little bit about model releases and product releases. Model releases are the actual legal form that you need the models to fill out. Even they are not professional models you need to have everything in writing if you are ever going to publish the image. Magazines will not publish photographs that have people’s faces in them unless you have a signed release. Books are the same way. There is a thing called product release or location release. If you are at a specific place like a mansion shooting models you will need to get a release from the property owner giving you permission to use images of his house or his boat, car or whatever it is that you might be using in the photographs. Cover yourself with proper release and it will make it that much easier to sell your images. Thank you."
