"Some of the common mistakes that you'll find learning the basic Manual will be, one, is that you don't Ollie high enough and you hit on the way up. Like this. Another common mistake will be that you just can't Manual far enough with your weight the way you've landed. This can be avoided by basically just practice and also making sure that you can comfortably Ollie up onto the height that your working with. Another common mistake would be, after Ollieing into the Manual position, your feet are a little bit displaced and a little crooked or something. This would cause your Manual to be messed up because it's pretty hard to do a clean Manual when your feet are really messed up. It's possible, but, it's usually you want to land in a nice even position with your feet below your shoulders, and nice and centered. Another common mistake with the Manual is probably the most scariest, and that's leaning too far back. When you're working with two wheels, it's really easy to overly lean back. Then you can have your Manual shoot out from you since you're Ollieing up onto something that may be difficult or a challenge for you. That could be a pivotal moment and you can sometimes fall and the scariest way is to fall backwards."
