"One of the tricks that will help you learn how to front side nose grind better will be getting really good at your nose wheelies, since basically it's the same body motion. You're ollying over the ledge, landing on the front of your wheels, and balancing riding across it. If you get really good at nose wheelies, you'll basically be able to get really good at front side and back side nose grinds from this. So, the better you are at nose wheeling, the better you'll end up being at nose grinding. Eventually you can find the spot that grinds good enough so that it almost feels like you're doing a nose wheelie. And the two motions are almost exactly the same. One of the things to remember while learning nose wheelies to eventually get you better at nose grinds on ledges, is that if you end up skating a manual pad that's about the same height as the thing that you eventually want to nose grind, the feeling is going to be very similar. So if you intend on learning to nose grind on something about this high, it would be better to learn nose wheelying first on something about that same height. And that'll be the exact same amount of ollie required to get you into that front side nose grind."
