"Hi! I'm Robert Beverly with Expert Village. Now we're going to talk a little bit about D&D etiquette. Certain things that you want to avoid in Dungeons and Dragons games to keep from disrupting the game, especially if you're a player. Please keep in mind that the dungeon master is the one who should be primarily in control of the game. Once the dungeon master loses control of a game, things sort of break down and the game becomes less fun. So don't be throwing dice across the room or having side conversations or things like that. Keep your attention on the dungeon master until it's your character's turn to move. One trick that might help dungeon masters who want to keep a more orderly game is to designate an object such as a large stick. Not for beating the players, but just pass the stick around the room and whoever is holding the stick is the one who is supposed to be talking at that moment. Then they pass it when it's someone else's turn. If you incorporate that into your campaigns, you should have a nice orderly game session and have a lot of fun. "
