"Hello! I'm Robert Beverly for Expert Village, and now we are talking about some of the books that you need to play Dungeons and Dragons. There are 3 main books for the Dungeons and Dragons game. The player's handbook is the first. This is the book that has all of the rules that you would need to know as a player of the Dungeons and Dragons game. Players should be familiar with this book and the various charts and things that you would find in it. This is where you would find character creation, combat, dice rolls and things like that. The next book, equally important, is the dungeon master's guide. The dungeons master's guide is the reference book for dungeon masters who are the storytellers and the leaders of the Dungeons and Dragons game. Finally, you would have a monstrous manual, which has all of the various creatures, monsters and things which might attack characters in a Dungeons and Dragons game or which the character will be competing against or searching their layers for treasure or what not. There are also many supplemental books such as the Tome of Magic, which has lots of imformation about magic spells. There are guides just for fighters, just for thieves, just for any class of character that you can think of in a Dungeons and Dragons game, and of course there are books that just have ready made ventures in them, which might be worth looking into if you don't have the time to make your own adventure or the inclination. With that you know a little bit more about the books of Dungeons and Dragons, so get out your books and your dice and your character sheets and start playing. "
