"The Snuggle Hitch is a relatively new hitch on the scene. It is only about 20 or 30 years old. It has a nice cheap name but it is a really tough wrapped around bend that is not going to let loose whatsoever so if you look down here and I have my hitch set up and I have got my line here. I am going to have to pull a lot of length of line here, just so you know and this is going to be my working end here at the top so I am going to wrap under with my one hand and back over what would normally be a closed end. Then I am going to take it back under through the initial first loop that I made and that is more or less a Clove Hitch but then I am going to wrap it back around again and this time I am going to loop into my standing end and bring this through my standing end like so and as you can see it has already started to make a nice good weave here and then I will bring it back around one more time and then back under the foremost loop here pulling it tight, a nice snug Snuggle Hitch.
