"Hi Pete Perata here, welcome back to Expert Village where today we are learning how to shuffle cards. Now let's get into strip cutting. This looks a little bit like shuffling but in is done in smaller packets of cards and using a cutting process to randomize. So we have talked about straight cutting, let's get into strip cutting. In order to do a strip cut I have the deck in front of you in so take your middle finger, and you thumb, grabbing the outer edge of the deck, lift up the deck away from the table - notice how I could hold it between those two fingers. You probably want to get a solid lock on there. There you go. I could hold it just like that. Now I want to come over with my left hand and by taking my index finger and my thumb I want to strip the top packet straight off the deck to my left. The majority of the deck is in my right hand with the packet that I just striped off the top on my left. I now drop the cards onto the table. I then come back over to the packet and repeat the process. Strip away the top half drop it on top. Strip away the top half, drop it on top. Come over with the last portion drop it on top. A little faster the cut might look like this. "
