How to Tackle in Madden '08

"Hey this is Phil Coonrad on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to talk about Madden 08. Here's the funnest way to demonstrate the tackling for this game. You still got R triggers your sprint. And then you can just run into them if you want. And I didn't run into anybody that time but. You can just run into them and you'll tackle them. And that wasn't good either. Or you can hit up on the right stick, and that's a. I need to switch to a different player. Up on the right stick is a power hit. Like a all out tackle sell out tackle is what we call it. And down is you'll dive at their knees. And I'm going to get some pretty good running back here, but I'll try to do the diving at their knees. Because that pretty good, its just down on the R stick. Nope. See you can really miss if you do too much if it though. You probably just want to stick to running into them or hitting X. Like that. That was just X, very effective. But that's how you do it. Just R stick for a power hit. Down to cut their knees out from under them, and X dives at them."
