"Hey this is Phil Coonrod on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to talk about Madden '08. Now we're going to talk about the controls here for Madden '08. To demonstrate the running controls I decided to go to the practice offense only, just so you can get kind of a visual. There's not going to be a lot of clutter around what's going on, so hopefully you'll be able to see it a little bit clearly. I'm just going to choose single back big deuce, just going to pick a running playoff to the right here. This thumb stick moves you, this thumb stick is your juke left, and juke right, if you push it up you will try to steam roll the defender, you'll try to truck him as they say in this game. If you push that forward, you'll just lower your shoulder and truck him. And if you push back, you'll do kind of a jump step back, so if someone's over pursuing you, you do that. B will be your spin, Y will be your hurdle, X will be your dive, and A will be your stiff arm. And if you want to stiff arm someone on your left, the ball has to be in your right hand. So if the ball is in your left hand, you need to switch it to your right, tap A, and then hold A again to stiff arm. And then the new features, and probably one of the most important things in this game I've come to find out, is this R bumper covers the ball up. So if you're in traffic, you might fumble if you're not holding on to the ball, so I'm just going to demonstrate a couple of moves. I'm just going to hit A to get the play going, here's my spin with the B, here's my juke left, my juke right, my truck and here's by back step. And I'm going to do it again for you real quick. Here's my right bumper, I'll run him right back at you, see how's he's hanging on to the ball. Spin, wide hurdle, X dive, that started our play over that's alright. So there it is, it's your basic running controls, don't mess with you L, L is pitch you don't want to do that. LB is fake pitch, you don't want to do that either, so, dive, and then these are your most important ones, your left juke with the stick, right juke, truck and hang on to the ball. But those are the basic controls for rushing the football."
