"Hey this is Phil Coonrod on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to talk about Madden 08. Okay we're here at our first round of the fantasy draft and we're going take a look at, at what's available. So if you hold your right trigger button and use your up on the directional pattern down, you're going to toggle through your positions. So I'm going to go to all real quick and see what I got left. Yep, looks like its going to be a lot of linemen and kickers and things like that. Let's go take a look and see what quarterbacks we have. We got Drew Brees, and Bulger and McNabb still left. I'm not entirely confident building a franchise around those guys. Like I said, the quarterbacks I would take if I could get, in the first round would be a Peyton, or Tom Brady or Carson Palmer. But, I'm probably going to, I'm probably going to go with defense at this point, cause we've got Steven Jackson's left, but you know I'm, I kind of feel like I can take young talented tailbacks like an Adrian Peterson or Reggie Bush maybe later in the rounds, in, in later rounds and develop them into that 99 overall player that you need in this round. So I'm going to go ahead and look at what we have for corners. Asante Samuel, lock down corner, really good corner and corners are going to go quick, the computer especially. They'll, they?ll take corners because you, you don't find shut down corners every day. Not every team's got them and shut down corners can take a whole half of the field out of the equation for an offense. So another thing I'm going to look at real quick, before I take my corners, I'm going to look at D tackles, and D tackles are huge. They plug up the run game, they cause trouble in the passing game. D tackles are another position that's going to go really quick. Another thing I'm going to look at is far is who I want to build around, is I want to get a guy that's, has proven experience but he's still pretty young. So I'm going to go with Asante Samuel. He's a lock down corner, he's only 26 years old, he's got another five, seven, eight years of really good play ahead of him. And he's going to be a guy that you can build a team around, and build a defense around. Cause, like I was saying, those corners, they make, they make all the difference in the world for defenses. So I'm going to go ahead and pick Asante Samuel."
