"Hi, I’m Mike Camelin with SunState Aviation Flight School in Kissimmee, Florida for Expert Village. In this segment we’re going to be talking about the parts of the interior of the aircraft. Now one of the most prominent features of the aircraft that you would notice is a pair of control yokes. One for the pilot and one for the copilot, these control yokes move in and out and from side to side and these control both the pitching motion of the aircraft and the banking motion of the aircraft left and right. Down on the floor board you’ll notice a pair of pedals on both the pilot and copilot side and these are what is known as the rudder pedals. This controls both the rudder of the airplane, which controls the yawing motion of the airplane and is what you would steer with while you’re taxiing the airplane on the ground. And of course we have the instrument panel as well; we have both the flight instruments and the engine instruments as well as some GPS and some standby instruments, Autopilot and so forth."
