"Hello! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of expertvillage.com, today we’re discussing strategy techniques for playing the game Mancala. Now, of course, with all of these strategy techniques that we’ve been discussing, this next one is called setting up. It’s not necessarily a technique itself that I’m going to demonstrate on the board, but when we talk about the strategy setting up, think of when you’re playing any kind of game like chess. You are setting up your other strategies, all of the strategies; we’ve been discussing to basically set up the game for yourself. When you’re making your moves don’t just pick any of the stones out of your smaller bin and sow them anywhere you like, think about it. Mancala is a numbers game; it’s a counting game. You can use all of these strategies to your advantage to win the game and to also study your opponent. If you opponent is not counting and not paying attention to the stones that is in their Mancala, you can use that to your advantage. In the end, we’re talking about strategy techniques on how to win the game Mancala. Don’t forget that Mancala is supposed to be a fun game, so it’s not necessarily always about winning. Although, most people do enjoy winning, and all the techniques that we’re going to continue discussing will aide you in winning the game. But don’t forget to also have a lot of fun while you’re playing. "
