" Hello! My name is Melissa Shank, and on behalf of expertvillage.com. Today we are discussing some strategy techniques to help you learn how to juggle. Alright, well it’s time to get back to these balls, and we want to learn how to juggle. Now, a strategy technique in learning how to juggle, very important; balls with weight. You want to have a good ball basically, that has some weight to it. What I mean is this: when you’re looking for pieces or things to juggle, pick a ball or something that has some weight to is, so that when you throw it in the air, it’s going to come down in your hand with a little bit of oomph. Beanbag balls are really good if you can get a really good pair. These ones are quite good because they’ve got sort of silicone in them, and they have a very nice feel and texture to them. You can also get other beanbag balls that really do feel like beanbags. They’re not quite as heavy; they’re a bit flimsier. It really is worth while spending a little bit of extra cash to get a very good ball. Now, one thing to keep in mind, make sure you get one that’s the size of your hand. Something really small to start off with, like these little racket balls that I’ve got, the thing about them is that when you start throwing them they don’t really have much weight and they’re hard to start off with. Unless, you are a professional juggler or you know what you’re doing, it’s really hard to start off with small balls or anything like ping pong balls. They have absolutely no weight to them, so when you throw them up they’re kind of hard, flimsy, they’ll fall all over the place, so use something with weight. You can use something like tennis balls; they’re quite good. They don’t have quite as much weight in them though. I really do recommend getting some balls with beanbags in them or something a little heavier. Tennis balls, they’re a great size, but they still don’t have a lot of weight to them. So, make sure that when you’re shopping get something with a good feel and a good weight behind it. "
