"On behalf of expertvillage.com my name is Michael Sohaski and I am here to tell you about the deal. I am the dealer and I will shuffle the cards. The person to my immediate right, Crystal, will cut the cards. Thank you Crystal. I will deal. Now what I need is the small blind. Elaine places in the small blind and I need a big blind. Thank you Brian. Now I deal. I initially deal one card face down then I deal a second card face down. At this point people look at their cards. The person to the immediate left of the big blind, Mary, with either fold, bet or raise. I call. Mary bets. I'll raise. Crystal raises. I will call the raise. I would really like to fold my hand. Is that permissible? Yes. The small blind, Elaine, folds her hand. And Brian calls. Here we go. We have one fold and everyone else is in the pot. We move all of the chips into the pot. At this point, the dealer will place one card down and three cards up, this is known as the flop."
