"On behalf of ExpertVillage.com, my name is Michael Sohaski, and I am here to tell you about betting a good hand. This is a good hand. Indeed, when it comes to starting hands, there is only one hand better, and that is pocket aces. How do you bet a good hand? There is a lot of discussion about this, but the general role of betting a good hand is to bet it strongly. By betting a good hand strongly, you will force out many of the weaker hands, or hands that may draw later on and force you to withdraw from the hand. Also, by keeping the pressure on your opponents you may induce them to fold and thus the pot it yours. There are various points in betting this good hand. Pre-flop you will bet it strongly. After the flop, you will bet it more strongly yet. And then on the turn, if necessary there will be a bet and finally on the river you may put in all of your chips. This is how you might wish to bet a very strong starting hand. "
