"On behalf of ExpertVillage.com, my name is Michael Sohaski and I'm going to tell you about the deal. In No Limit Texas Holdem', the cards are dealt face down. One card starting immediately to the dealer's left. The dealer is defined with the dealer button. then a second card is dealt face down. These are also known as hole cards. After the cards are dealt, the person beyond the big blind bets first. In this case, this person over here, will either bet, fold, or raise. And the betting continues around until you come to the big blind. the big blind is the last person to act. Next, after the initial round of betting, then one card (it's called a burn card) is face down, it is followed by three cards, face up. This is called the flop. The flop consists of three cards. Now, betting starts immediately to the left of the dealer. The person can bet. If this person bets the following person can fold, call or raise. This continues around. If there is a raise, then it comes back to the person who placed the original bet and they can either fold, call the raise or even re-raise. After this round of betting is completed, we place another card face down and then another card face up. This is called the turn. again, there is another round of betting. Finally, we come to the river. Again, a card down and the fifth and final card up. Those who remain will again have a round of betting. After the betting is completed then the cards are turned up to determine who has the winning hand."
