Since its inception in the 50’s, video gaming continues to find a place in the hearts, minds, and hands of eager players. Crossing boundaries of age, gender, race, and society, gaming brings a diversity of people together through a common experience. Whether it’s at the ancestral arcade, on our personal computers, or with a game console, video gaming is now considered a worldwide obsession.

Over time, some things have changed dramatically about the way video games are made and the way we play them. As technology has advanced, we’ve seen advances in graphics and resolution, performance, complexity, and versatility. There are two things that haven’t changed: the enjoyment of good gameplay and the range of dedicated players one will find out there—from newbs to hardcore gamers with a hardcore habit.

In this free video series, our expert will walk you through the basics of choosing from among the many console game systems currently available on and off the market. From the 7th generation players: Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo Wii, to some of the golden oldies, our expert will help you determine how to pick the system or systems that are right for you.

" Hi! My name is Michale Silverio on behalf of Expert Village. I am here to help you pick out some game counsels old and new and also will be teaching you about some new technology that is out and that is coming out. Now days, there are so many different systems to choose from, it is hard to… you know… pick which one is better. So, I will be helping you to choose like Play Station II, X-Boxes, game cubes and all those stuff like… retro like Atari, semi-genesis, PS I, all that stuff and some handouts like Game Boy Colors and all that. I have been playing games my whole life so I do know what I am talking about when it comes to this stuff and I have owned many different systems Sega Genesis, play stations, play station 2, X-Box, all that stuff. I will also get into some PCs like alien ware, HPs, Apple computers, all that stuff. It should be pretty great time learning about all this new technology and what not."
